August 2011 – Trev has joined the team! check out Trev at trevsmowing

We both grew up in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, where beer was only served icy cold, labels were bright green, red or blue and beer names were incredibly state-alistic (is that a word? along the same lines as nationalistic).

It was from these simple beginnings that our taste for beer developed. Many overseas trips and long beer sessions later, we arrive at where we are today – keen to explore new beers; local, foreign, cheap, expensive – we don’t really care.

What we do care about though is that on your next trip down to the bottleshop, you to look a bit further around the fridge….there’s definitely something a bit more interesting lurking back there and we reckon you should give it a shot.

So tune in !  We’re keen to share it all with you – beer reviews, brewery visits, foods that go with beer and all sorts of other beer related stuff. You get the drift.

Note: In case you were wondering, there’s nothing influencing the beers we chat about here – we simply keep an eye out for new, interesting brews and also take suggestions from our wide audience.
