Bridge Rd Brewers Chestnut Pilsner

We normally have nuts with our beers, however this time around the team at Bridge Road have decided to put the nuts into the beer! They're located out Beechworth & they are a brewery that is pumping out some very interesting beers.

    That does sound like a great beer for a summer bbq, but I might just crank up our heating at home and test it out today instead.

    Great brewery, great review in a great setting. Fantastic photos at the end. Good to see you guys actually go visit the places you review. Looking forward to the next one.

    Oh, that old chestnut!!

    Great epp, will give it a go.

    Great beer, chestnut is there, but quite discreet. I head over to Beechworth occasionally and have spent a couple of great afternoons sampling the extensive bridge rd range!

    Great review of a really great beer. Love Bridge Road Brewery. I think it is great that they use local products. The Chestnut Pilsner is a really refreshing beer with a slight chestnut flavour. Love the pictures of the brewery in your show. Well done. What’s next??

    @HoppyPete:
    Glad you liked this review…and yeah, it’s a pretty special beer we thought too.

    Next we’ve got a beer education episode actually, if you enjoy the occasional European beer…make sure you take a look then as it will be interesting.

    After this next one, we’ll get back on the beer reviews again, likely to be something from the ale family that works in well with the winter weather this time of year.
