Bottles versus Cans…

We've ventured down the back alleys of Melbourne town to talk through the bottles versus cans debate….everyone has their preference, but there's some basic facts that you really need to know.

Comments

  1. I’m a bottle man myself.
Stubby holders are the go for anywhere but the pub (in fact they should never be seen indoors).

Boonie, will there ever be a more famous Australian beer drinker?
    No

  2. bryn says:

The 5 litre heineken keg with the plastic widget is pretty hard to beat. Drinking from a glass is best I think. Did Marsh drink his 48 from cans or stubbies?

  3. Iain says:

I agree guys. It’s gotta be glass, then bottle, then if you absolutely must, can.

There are a few options you missed though (maybe holding off for another episode?):
    - the plastic MCG cup full of mid-strength CUB @#$?
    - mouth wide-open under the keg tap
    - “shot-gun” drinking from a can

    Sorry for lowering the tone…

  4. Boslow says:

    Nice cans boys!!!

Agree – much prefer the glass

  5. glenn says:

It is hard to find quality beer in cans… Most canned beer is crap beer… you no choice but to go to glass

  6. Cans are best for storage, because they don’t let any light in, they’re also cheaper when it comes to shipping.

But no matter what it should be poured into (the correct) glass.
